Given: Let boys = B and girls= G
Therefore, Q has = G + B children

Therefore, excluding M, G - 1 = B ........(1)
N is a boy and has twice as many sisters as brothers.
Therefore, excluding N, 2(B -1) = G,
2B - 2 = G .........(2)
By equation (1) and (2) B = 3 and G = 4 Hence, the number of children Q have is 7.
